Brew Detroit unveils new Detroit City FC beer, Smoke Delay IPA

Detroit City FC has a new beer of its own.

Brew Detroit unveiled its latest beer in partnership with professional football club, called Smoke Delay IPA, a 4.8% dry-stir-fried IPA with Mosaic and Lotus hops.

It’s now available at the Detroit contract brewer’s taproom, hits the cans market next week, and will be available in time for Detroit City FC. men’s home opening on May 1 at Keyworth Stadium in Hamtramck.

Brew Detroit and Detroit City FC asked fans in early February to name their next beer as the men’s and women’s teams prepare to return to the field this year. They previously released Bring Out Your Dead, also a crushable IPA session.
