Caribou Coffee has announced the appointment of Matthew Walls as the franchise’s first director. Walls will join the management team and lead Caribou’s domestic and international franchise business.

Walls brings more than two decades of franchise experience to his new role. He was most recently Director of Global Development at CKE Restaurants, Inc., the parent company of Hardee’s and Carl’s Jr., where he helped roll out a national rebranding program to enhance brands; the program focused on renovating stores, integrating new technologies and improving operations. Walls’ long career also includes positions at Domino’s Pizza and Yum Brands, where he held various positions in operations, e-commerce and logistics.
