The Chinese mobile games market saw revenue growth in October, according to a recent industry report.

Market revenue reached about 18.64 billion yuan (about $ 2.9 billion) last month, up 0.48 percent year-on-year, according to the report released by CNG, an institute of games industry research.

Revenue was also up 3.37% from September, Yonhap News Agency reports.

Foreign sales revenue for mobile games developed in China was about $ 1.6 billion in October, down 1.79% from September.

China’s top 30 mobile game publishers grossed $ 2.16 billion globally in December last year, according to Sensor Tower, a mobile app data analytics company.

The amount represents 29% of the global mobile games market’s total revenue during the period, the company said.

In 2020, the total revenue of the 30 biggest mobile gaming giants grew by 45% year on year, and in contrast, the total payment of mobile gamers on the App Store and Google Play increased by only 27, 8% year on year, reports Xinhua News. agency.
