KTM unveils 2022 500 EXC-F six days just in time for ISDE 2021

In 2020, the organizers of the International Six Days Enduro (ISDE) canceled the 95th edition of the legendary off-road competition due to the COVID-19 health crisis. Fortunately, ISDE will return on August 30, 2021 in Lombardy-Piedmont, Italy. The six-day affair will pit the toughest enduro riders against some of the toughest terrains and conditions in the world.

Not surprisingly, KTM machines represent more than half of the ISDE network. To celebrate what the brand considers to be the “most prestigious FIM off-road motorcycle race in the world”, Team Orange is releasing its special edition 500 EXC-F Six Days a few weeks before the green flag. Sure, the standard 500 EXC-F is an enduro weapon in its own right, but the 2022 500 EXC-F Six Days lives up to its name with additional performance parts.

A front axle puller allows users to easily remove the front wheel for quick repairs while the standard skid plate protects against further damage. The triple clamp and CNC-milled chain guide not only hold the enduro, but also match the characteristic orange frame of the variant.

The biggest update to the KTM annual model comes in cosmetic form. The new dual-sport special edition graphics now align with the brand’s full off-road lineup, which is inspired by the Red Bull KTM team livery and 1980s motocross design. the large Six Days script on the front panel doesn’t catch your eye, the Six Days logos on the rims, handlebars and exhaust should do the trick. The exclusive Six Days seat also carries the blue / orange color combo found on many KTM racing machines.

KTM has yet to announce the enduro’s MSRP, but if these are past iterations, the 2022 Six Days is expected to be close to $ 1,000 above the 500’s standard price of $ 11,799. EXC-F.
