Marvel’s Shang-Chi earns $ 21.7 million in third weekend at the box office


Shang-Chi and the legend of the ten rings remains top of the box office for the third weekend. Shang-Chi got off to a good start, setting new opening weekend records over Labor Day weekend. In its third weekend, it will add an additional $ 21.7 million to its domestic gross, bringing that total to $ 176.9 million. The film is now set to overtake its summer release from fellow Marvel Studios Black Widow. Shang-ChiThe strong box office performance appears to have given Disney the confidence to keep its remaining 2021 movie-exclusive film debut, including the upcoming Marvel Cinematic Universe installment, Marvel Studios’ Eternals. Shang-Chi and the legend of the ten rings enjoys strong critical reception and response from fans.’s Jamie Jirak gave the film a review of 4.5 out of 5:

Shang-Chi and the legend of the ten rings is one of the best Marvel Cinematic Universe origin stories to date, filled with surprisingly choreographed action, unexpected laughs, and a lot of heart, ”she writes. “Even if you are not familiar with the Shang-Chi comics, this movie is to be seen on the big screen. And be sure to stick around for both the mid-credits and post-credits scenes, which will be a hit with any Marvel fan.
