Cosplayer LunarNoir has brought Kaoru Sakurayashiki, aka tech-savvy skateboarder Cherry Blossom, to life with a new set of cosplay photos. The costume is completed with Cherry Blossom’s ninja mask, which he uses to hide his identity, and his long pink hair.

Cherry Blossom was just one of many colorful skaters featured in 2021 Sk8 infinity. The original anime told the story of two friends, Reki, obsessed with skateboarding, and Langa, a Canadian transfer student, who are drawn into the underground skateboarding competition known as the “S”, which allows skateboarders to tackle each other as they traverse a dangerous obstacle course. . The competition pushes the two friends’ love for skateboarding to its limits, as Reki comes to terms with the limits of her own skating abilities, while Langa’s natural talent catches the attention of Adam, the most popular runner. talented and most dangerous in the league.
The anime series wrapped up its 12-episode run in April, but the series continues with two manga adaptations, which are still in the process of being serialized in Japan. Last July, a new anime project for the series was announced, but no details have been revealed since.
