Pokemon Journeys gets a makeover with this new art

Pokemon The animated series has followed the exploits of Ash Ketchum for decades, with the eternal young trainer going all out to be one of the best in the world, and now a fan artist has imagined what the events of Pokemon Journeys would look like if that. had been the case. premiered in 1997. With this year to celebrate the twenty-fifth anniversary of the television series premiere, we expect big news to arrive for Ash and his current right-hand man Goh as they continue their quest to bring down the coaches from the Galar region.

Along with Ash Ketchum’s journey and role as the series’ main protagonist, Team Rocket villains Jesse, James, and Meowth have stalked him for decades. In a recent episode, many thought Team Rocket was saying goodbye to the franchise, even with Pokémon trips giving them incredible technology to aid them in their infamous mission. Most likely, the trio will return in the future in their continued attempts to wipe out pocket monsters, including Ash’s Pikachu. Ketchum might never age in the Pokemon television series, but its list is sure to change with each subsequent storyline.

Twitter artist Yinyang Gio 14 imagines what Pokémon trips would look like if it had debuted about twenty-five years ago, giving today’s Ash Ketchum and Goh a major makeover and taking them back to 1997 when the television series for Pokemon introduced us to the world pocket monsters:

One of the major events to come for Pokémon trips is a new anime storyline that will tie into the storyline of Pokemon Arceus, which is the highly anticipated next entry in the Nintendo Switch video game series. With the TV series recently taking the opportunity to explore the multiverse and introduce new versions of some of the fan favorite trainers, it looks like this year is set to be a big year for the animated pocket monsters franchise.
