Ron’s Gone Wrong trailer released


20th Century Studios has teamed up with UK studio Locksmith Animation to deliver an all-new animated adventure, which hits theaters this fall. The new movie is called Ron went wrong, and it tells the story of a college boy who gets a digitally connected device named Ron as his new friend. Unfortunately, unlike the devices most other children have, Ron doesn’t work exactly the way he’s supposed to.

On Tuesday morning, Disney and 20th Century released the very first trailer for Ron went wrong, showing its history and stellar animation. You can check it out in the video above!

Ron went wrong presents a star voice cast that includes Zach Galifianakis (A wrinkle in time, The Hangover), Jack Dylan Grazer (Shazam!, Luca), Olivia Colman (The crown), Ed Helms (Office), Smith J. (Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom), Rob Delaney (Deadpool 2), Kylie Cantrall (Gabby Duran and the Undecided), Ricardo Hurtado (The Goldbergs), Marcus Scribner (Blackish) and Thomas Barbusca (Chad).

“20th century studios and locksmiths activities Ron went wrong is the story of Barney, a socially awkward college boy, and Ron, his new walking, talking, and digitally connected device, which is said to be his “best friend out of the box.” Ron’s hilarious dysfunctions, set against the backdrop of the age of social media, sets them off on an action-packed journey in which boy and robot come to terms with the wonderful mess of true friendship. “

Ron went wrong is directed by Pixar veteran Jean-Philippe Vine (story artist on Cars 3 and The good dinosaur) and Serrurier co-founder Sarah Smith (Arthur Noel). Octavio Rodriguez (screenwriter on coco and Incredibles 2) is co-director. The screenplay was co-written by Smith and Peter Baynham (Arthur Noel, Borat). Ron went wrong is produced by Julie Lockhart and Lara Breay, with Elisabeth Murdoch, Smith and Baynham as executive producers.
