Wow … that was a big change in weather with rain, clouds, gusty northeast winds to 30mph and temperatures in the 50s – typical of late October. Keep that umbrella and jacket handy for tonight and night, as rain showers will be likely with the cool temperatures and the brisk northeast wind.
Scattered showers are still likely on Wednesday with clouds and temperatures struggling to reach 60. We will see another half an inch or more of rain by Wednesday night.
As the storm system moves, Thursday improves a bit with some sunshine, highs in the lower 60s, and only an isolated downpour in the afternoon. Friday is even nicer with sunshine and peaks in the 60s … it’s still 7 degrees below normal.
We are heading back to the lower 70s on Saturday, but showers and thunderstorms are likely. Sunday is also in the 70s, but it is much more pleasant with a lot of sun.
