For the school holidays, Stockland Shellharbour has planned activities to keep the children occupied at home during the lockdown. It starts on Tuesday with celebrity chef Miguel Maestre and his children Claudia and Morgan making recipes for other kids to follow in their own kitchen. Recipe cards can be viewed to help parents pre-purchase ingredients for the Fluffy Cinnamon Demonstration on Tuesday and Sticky Vanilla Buns and the Wood-Fired Margherita Pizza Demonstration on Friday. And next week, kids ages 7-12 can choose their own adventure and have fun with a four-part comic book workshop led by professional comic artist and illustrator Marcelo Baez who previously worked with Marvel, Microsoft and National Geographic. On September 28, they will learn basic character design and techniques. Over the next few days, they will learn how to develop characters, visual storytelling techniques, and how to put the story together. The Stockland website has more details.
