Electronics repair company keeps Brighton community connected
April 22, 2021 // Franchising.com // BRIGHTON, Michigan – Electronics repair shop uBreakiFix is now open in Brighton at 9964 E Grand River Rd. The store offers repairs on smartphones, tablets, computers and more to help the community stay connected.
uBreakiFix Brighton is owned by Drew Lessaris and Ron Harb. This is the eighth owner’s store in the Detroit area.
“The mission and vision of ubreakiFix aligns closely with my own values, which is why I see invaluable value in expanding ubreakiFix’s influence in the Detroit area,” said Lessaris. “I spotted an opportunity in Brighton, an underserved market that needs a top notch appliance repair service. We are delighted to expand the reach of uBreakiFix and invite new customers to our family. “
uBreakiFix offers repair service on anything that has a power button, from smartphones, tablets and computers to drones, hoverboards and game consoles. To date, uBreakiFix has completed more than 10.8 million repairs at its more than 600 locations across North America. While common fixes include broken screens, software glitches, and camera issues, the brand offers support for most technical issues on any electronic device, regardless of brand or model.
“Communities around the world depend on technology to stay connected,” Lessaris said. “We are a rapidly growing franchise and we are eager to hire local technical repair experts to make sure we keep our finger on the pulse of what this community needs.”?
uBreakiFix was founded in 2009 by millennial entrepreneurs Justin Wetherill and David Reiff to fill a gap in the market for high quality, affordable phone repair. The duo quickly teamed up with Eddie Trujillo to transition their internet-based repair brand to a brick and mortar model. uBreakiFix began franchising in 2013 and currently operates over 600 locations in the United States and Canada.
“At uBreakiFix, our history has been shaped by an unwavering commitment to continually improve the repair experience for customers,” said Wetherill. “We founded this business to meet a need for convenient, high-quality repair with excellent service at a fair price. We always say we’re a customer service company first, and then a technology company. As we begin to serve Brighton and the surrounding communities, we look forward to sharing the care and credibility that defines the uBreakiFix experience. “
