Carolina Green Provisions was designed as a home for a range of three locally produced products. From this concept, however, the market / store plan has grown to include a dozen other product lines uniquely made in the greater Wilmington area, and more are in the works.

CGP is now officially open at 7316 N. Market St. and the response has already been good, said Zach Hanner, who is a convenient presence in the store. He, Ben Erichsen and Jaryd Acheson brought the market to life.

Acheson is the CEO of Green Lean & Clean, a meal preparation service that prepares dishes that include equal portions of a clean green vegetable, lean protein, and clean starch. They also added salads, baked goods, and salsas. Other house products on the market are Carolina Pure CBD, a line of hemp products grown in North Carolina and prepared on site, and Elev8, a line of edibles made from CBD.

“We already have a lot of foot traffic and people interested in health and fitness are pulling up,” Hanner said.
